Hawzah News Agency- a ceremony to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of General Qasem Soleimani was held in 12 locations in Mumbai and its suburbs, including in Malad Maloney, Andheri West, Jogeshwari, Bhiwandi, Shilpata and Membra.

The event was attended by the Head of the Consulate General, the Head of the Cultural House, the Second Consul and the Head of Administrative Affairs of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, and a group of Muslims in the Indian Subcontinent.

Also, another ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of Resistance was held in India. The event was attended by the Head of the Consulate General, the Head of the Cultural House, the Second Consul and the Head of Administrative Affairs of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, and a group of Muslims at the Thania Zahra (PBUH) gathering in Andheri West.

Head of the Consulate General of Iran in Mumbai Mohsen Mohsenifard, while explaining the services of martyr Hajj Qasem Soleimani to various ethnic groups and countries, considered that high-ranking martyr not only a national hero of the Iranians but also a hero of humanity.

Referring to the sinister plans of global arrogance for the region, he reminded the need to be vigilant against their conspiracies aimed at sowing discord among Islamic countries.
